Artist's Comments
One of my first attempts to shoot a bird in flight...it's pretty hard. Hawks are easier than most birds since they're larger and slower. This one was soaring above the scrubs of my aunt and uncle's property. Shot about twenty or so pictures, this is the only one that came out that well. It was a very bright day so I got to use a good exposure. I think it came out okay for one of my first pictures of a bird in flight.
